Started 2 JHS programs – Tucson Scorpions & Tucson Titans


Dean is from Levittown New York, he grew up on Long Island playing both Football and Lacrosse from the age of 10. Dean continued playing sports and being educated at Washington and Lee University (VA). Washington and Lee University at that time was a Divison 1 lacrosse program Coached by Hall of Famer Jack Emmer. After receiving his MBA from Adelphi University Dean worked and lived in New York and Atlanta, Georgia; Dean finally landed in Tucson in 1988. Dean has Coached youth sports for over 15 years, co-founding the Tucson Scorpions JHS program, the Tucson Titans Youth program and the Salpointe HS placrosse rogram. In 2009 Dean’s Salpointe program went undefeated and won the 2009 State title. The Mt. Lion Lax program has now grown to over 50 players and has been able to get to the lacrosse semifinals in just a very short time of the clubs existence. The Mountain Lion Lacrosse Team now has their sights now set on achieving a state title.

David Class - Assistant Coach

Jeff Kratz - Assistant Coach 

Jeff was introduced to lacrosse in his youth in his native Pennsylvania.  Prior to his 2018 relocation to Tucson, Jeff assisted the Butte Blizzard Lacrosse Club in Butte, MT for two years. Jeff works as a lawyer in Oro Valley.

Hank Bolin - Assistant Coach

Mike Storie - Assistant Coach 

Mike grew up on Long Island in Manhasset where he started playing PBC lacrosse in second grade.  He captained his HS team, then played D3 NCAA at Alfred University in upstate NY where he was also captain his junior and senior seasons.  Eventually he relocated to Arizona and played in the World Games in conjunction with the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.  He has coached for over 20 years co-founding the Tucson Scorpions and Salpointe HS program which won the State title.  Mike then founded and ran the most successful Tucson lacrosse club program, the Southern Arizona Lacrosse Academy (SALA) which was an Adrenaline affiliate.
